And this is exactly why they can't find a lawyer willing to take this case.Twitter has gone down before, Gmail, other brokerages, even businesses heavily relied on by other large corporations have gone down without getting sued out of existence. BlackBerry was down four whole days and the only class action against them (which only covered customers in Canada) fizzled out.Like it or not, the terms clear them of reasonability and it would take gross negligence to throw out a legally binding contract so a lawsuit can proceed. I also had issues with them, this is what I have done so far:. Submit a complain in the Federal Trade Commision.
Submit a complain with your local securities board(In my case Texas)In the case of number 2, I called them, they confirmed that they can review the case, they sent me a form by email and asked me to attach my evidence (I have emails in which RH admits that my losses were due unresolved bugs in the system, which they said that was previously fixed + screen shots)They are supposedly making profits routing our trades we cannot just sit and do nothing. Don't get discouraged by comments that say that because it is free you 'shouldn't' complain. Let us do something and fight for our rightsI also tried contacting consumer fraud lawyers but I had no luck they said that they are not experts on the matter I reported. If anyone knows of further actions please let us know.
